My Secret to Surviving Med School

Anyone who knows me, knows that my island animals are a HUGE part of my life. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them, or how I would have made it this far through medical school without them. My family jokes around with me, saying that I also run an animal shelter in addition to being a medical student.

My three babies are always excited to see me after a long, stressful day of classes/studying, and always show unconditional love no matter what. Just spending a few moments with them drastically improves my mood and makes me so happy. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to rescue them from their “less-than-ideal” conditions on the streets, and that they now have a safe place to rest their heads at night. Check out my post that I wrote for Women Who Live on Rocks about my furbabies!
